Why Tai Chi & Me?

This newsletter began as a blog at WarnerBlake.net with information to help the students in my Tai Chi Class at the local Y. With Covid, the class was canceled, so I changed the focus from learning Tai Chi to Writing. With the move to Substack I learned what I was doing could be called “Writing Prompts.”

In February, I began a 70 month writers prompt titled: Letters to Sara. This project is described in my first letter to Sara.

As a local history writer, living in Snohomish, Wash., I would give walking tours for third graders who in turn would write, and draw, thank you notes and from one I adopted my portrait.

I begin every day doing Tai Chi in a small city park facing the Snohomish River … I will be learning Tai Chi until the End of the World.
